Here comes the May release of Entiros Starlify. This month we're introducing smart toggles and an extra ring to the circle graph. 🪐
In this release:
- To reduce cluttering and increase visibility, our new smart toggles will help you out by automatically showing relevant subsystems, services, or references connected to a system.
- We’ve added custom configurations for the circle graph which allows you to gain further insight into your application network. See below how it works.
- We've added lots of fresh new content to our Help center, like for instance the article How to crowdsource your application network in 30 days.
- As usual, bugs have been fixed.
P.S. You may need to do a hard refresh for the changes to break through (Command+Shift+R on Mac, and Ctrl+shift+R on PC),
This months' tips and tricks
You can now create custom configurations in the circle graph. This allows you to divide your systems into multiple rings to get a better overview of your network. You could for example create separate rings for internal systems and external systems as shown in the example.
- Select circle graph type by clicking “Graph” in the bottom right corner and select “Circle”.
- In the graph settings panel click on the (+) plus symbol to create a new circle configuration.
- Enter the name of your new configuration and click “Create configuration”.
- Create a new ring by clicking on the (+) plus symbol next to the “Rings”-heading.
- Select a system attribute and a value in the dropdowns and click “Create ring”.
- Click the pen symbol on an item in the rings list to edit the attribute and/or value for the ring.
