Therefore integration is a more and more important theme for the IT department. New requirements demands faster integration of new solutions, external IT suppliers, new partners and or customers in existing systems. Also internally the need for collaboration is increasing. The IT departments increasing involvement for the products and services delivered require a greater collaboration between the company's different IT departments and business areas. In a situation where also the marketing turns digital and information about customers and prospects from external and internal sources need to be integrated is also the interaction with the marketing critical to business success.

Integration permeates not only IT but the entire company and as well as the integration can establish IT as an enabler of innovation, lack of integration will be a hindrance to quickly meet customer demands for new products and services. Therefore, the conference main message is "IT for increased competitiveness".

Focus on three separate areas:

More and more solutions are in the cloud. The need to create robust connections to applications running "in-house" or at an outsourcing provider is becoming increasingly accentuated.
